FIRST HALF

QPR got us underway for the first half in the sunshine at Plough Lane.

After sustaining some pressure from the away side in the opening minutes, Hannah Billingham bombed down the left-hand side and sent an excellent low-ball into the box, and Emily Donovan was there to tap it home! 4 minutes in, and the Dons were winning 1-0.

The Dons enjoyed a lot of the ball in the opening 15 minutes.

It was AFC Wimbledon Women 2-0 QPR Women.

Dorey and Hincks were linking up beautifully again down the left-hand side. The ball came into Hincks, and her shot was fumbled by the keeper, and somehow it didn’t end up in the back of the net.

Over half-way through the first half, it seemed to be one-way traffic from the Dons.

QPR got themselves back into the game after their first goal, as they started to mount pressure on the Dons. Just before the 40-minute mark, after some slow reactions from the home side, QPR had themselves an equaliser, through their number 11 Renai Mcrea, to make it 2-2.

Just before half-time, and the Dons won themselves a free kick outside the area after Rosie Russell was fouled. Hincks stood over the free kick, had the keeper diving to her right, but her shot went just wide. At the same time, Ellie Dorey went into challenge the ball and ended up in a collision with the QPR goalkeeper. The first half ended, but it ended without her.
