MATCHDAY GUIDE: AFC WIMBLEDON v NORWICH CITY IN TOP OF TABLE CLASH

AFC Wimbledon’s top of the table clash with Norwich City is this weekend. The game will more than likely be a major decider in this season’s title and promotion race which the Dons are currently leading.

GETTING TO THE GAME

The War Memorial Sports Ground is a 6 minute walk from Carshalton train station, which is serviced by Southern Railway. Please check their website for any disruption to their services.

If you arrive by bus, routes 127, 157, 407, 627, S3 and SL7 all stop near the ground.

There is limited free parking at the ground, and it’s first come first served.

For games at the War Memorial Sports Ground, you are only able to get tickets on the door. You can pay by cash or card.

Under 18s: FREE

ABOUT THE VENUE

The War Memorial Sports Ground holds 3,000 spectators, with 300 covered seats. There is sheltered stands all around the pitch.

The venue is fully accessible.

Tony’s Food Hut, which is just as you enter the ground, will serve hot food before and throughout the game, such as pies, chips and rolls.

The Clubhouse is your place to go for any drinks, hot or cold, non-alcoholic and alcoholic, and any snacks such as crisps and chocolate.

Toilets are located in the Clubhouse, or by the turnstiles.

No dogs are allowed at the ground.

WHAT TO EXPECT DURING THE DAY

We are expecting a bumper crowd for this fixture, so make sure you get to the ground early to help with congestion near the gates. Please respect markings around the ground of where you are allowed to stand.

The best mascot in the world, Haydon the Womble, will be down to meet all supporters before the game.

After the game, all players are more than happy to say hello and sign autographs.
